CONVERT PRINT TO DIGITAL
We digitise old printed photos with a specialised photo scanner specifically made for this purpose. Printed photos are fading over time, being damaged and vulnerable to tearing, fire and water damage.
HIGHLY DETAILED
Taking photographs of old printed photos or using household scanners tremendously decreases the quality. Digitisation with our specialised scanner maintains and increases the quality and detail of your digitised photos.
SAFE SCANNING
We take every precaution possible when working and scanning your printed photos. We use gloves to prevent fingerprints or oil as well as protective sleeves for very old or delicate photos to prevent them from being damaged.
CORRECT RESOLUTION
When digitising printed photos there are various resolutions depending on the intended use. Resolutions include 300dpi that is ideal for sharing and printing, 600dpi for archiving and 1200dpi for enlargements.
Do you have valuable handwritten notes, messages or dates on the back of the printed photos?
You don't have to lose small but precious details like that with our Single-Step 2 Side Scanning. Preserve every aspect of your photos, including any handwritten notes on the backside.
RESTORATION
SLIDE TO SEE BEFORE AND AFTER
After your printed photos have been digitised we can restore some of the damage that has already been done. This includes restoring of damages, removing scratches, removing tears, removing smudges, reconstructing missing parts, de-skewing and cropping. Although this is a nice superpower to have, there is a limit to how big the pice is that we can reconstruct.
If you already have a digital image that is damaged and needs some love and restoration, you can send us the photo and we can help you in the same way and send you back the restored version.
